DESCRIPTION:As part of our continued efforts to spread the timeless teachings of Swami Vivekananda and to inspire mankind with the Universal Ideas of Hinduism\, we are pleased to inform you that Ramakrishna Mission\, Mumbai\, is organising the following event in September 2025: \n\nCommemorative Celebration of Swami Vivekananda’s Historic Address at the World Parliament of Religions\, Chicago (11th September 1893)\nDate: Thursday\, 11th September 2025\nTime: 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM\nVenue: Vivekananda Auditorium\, Ramakrishna Mission\, Khar (W)\, Mumbai\n\n  \nWe are honoured to have Adv. Shri Ashish Shelar\, Hon’ble Minister\, Information & Broadcasting and Cultural Affairs\, Govt. of Maharashtra\, as the Chief Guest for the programme. \n  \nThis event will also feature deliberations by monks of the Ramakrishna Order\, highlighting the lasting impact and relevance of Swami Vivekananda’s representation of Hinduism on the World stage in today’s context. This program particularly focuses on religious and philosophical ideas of Hinduism as presented by Swami Vivekananda during his 15 years of wandering in India and abroad\, brought to us by his letters and speeches. This is to understand Hindu Dharma as realised by Swami Vivekananda.
