A 3-DAY RESIDENTIAL YOUTH CAMP
20th, 21st & 22nd September 2024

Ramakrishna Mission, Mumbai had organized a 3-Day Residential Youth Camp for the age group from 18 to 28 years (boys only), in its premises from 20th to 22nd September 2024. Total 39 students from 10 colleges of Mumbai, Navi Mumbai and Thane have participated in the Residential Youth Camp. All the students were accommodated in the guesthouse of Mumbai Ashrama.

The camp was focused to instill the Man-Making / Character-building ideas of Swami Vivekananda in the young minds. It has provided insight to develop life skills, and concentration, cultivate personality traits and give an idea of the holy environment and opportunity to understand the activities of the Ramakrishna Mission, which will bring forth the best in the Youth, for service to the community and nation at large.

The function was inaugurated by Swami Satyadevananda, Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission, Mumbai. Dr. Srinivas Venkatram (Director, Illumine Knowledge Resources Pvt. Ltd.), Dr. Subhasis Chaudhuri (Former Director, IIT Bombay) and Dr. B. N. Gangadhar (Chairperson, National Medical Commission) were the eminent speakers who physically and virtually had an interactive session with the students.

The youth comp comprised of Chanting, Meditation, Bhajans, Interactive Sessions, Reading from Gospel, Attending Evening Arati Audio Visual Presentation etc. Swami Satyadevananda, Swami Devakantyananda, Swami Tannamananda and Swami Dayadhipananda also interacted with students and guided them about Ramakrishna Math, Ramakrishna Mission and its ideals and activities.

Breakfast, Snacks, Lunch, Dinner and refreshments were served to all the attendees and participation certificates were given to all the participants.
